 Using Microsoft Teams, I participated in a 4-hour webinar on November 21, 2024, with the topic "Al-Alam: Enhancing Academic Excellence Through Proper AI Tool Usage". Mr. Vince Anthony R. Batayola, the speaker, talked about how artificial intelligence (AI) technologies like Semantic Scholar, Jasper, and Zoho Analytics may boost academic achievement by making research, data analysis, and content creation easier. This increases productivity for both teachers and students.

  • I attended a 4-hour webinar titled "Al-Alam: Enhancing Academic Excellence Through Proper AI Tool Usage" held on November 21, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM via Microsoft Teams. The speaker for this event was Mr. Vince Anthony R. Batayola.

 

     II.          Reflections on the webinar/ activity give rise to (learnings)

  • The webinar provided valuable insights into how AI tools can be used to improve academic performance. I learned about tools like Zoho Analytics for data analysis, Jasper for content creation, and Semantic Scholar for finding relevant academic papers. These tools can help students and educators by simplifying tasks such as data analysis, content writing, and research. The speaker explained how these tools can enhance productivity and streamline academic processes.

    III.          Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learnings)

  • I can apply the knowledge gained in the webinar by using Zoho Analytics to analyze data for my projects, Jasper to help write reports or essays more efficiently, and Semantic Scholar to find relevant research papers for my studies. These tools can improve my workflow and help me be more productive in my academic work.

   IV.          Positive Feedback

  • The webinar was informative, and Mr. Vince Anthony R. Batayola did a great job explaining the practical uses of AI tools like Zoho Analytics, Jasper, and Semantic Scholar. The session was well-organized, and I learned useful information that I can apply to my academic tasks.

 

     V.          Suggestions for Improvements to Consider for Future Activities

  • It would be helpful if future webinars included more hands-on demonstrations of how Zoho Analytics, Jasper, and Semantic Scholar can be used in real-life academic scenarios. Seeing these tools in action would allow participants to better understand how they can be applied to their own work.
